Not only do you essentially have to become a marketing expert practically overnight, but you also have to do a tremendous amount of research on every applicant. This includes credit checks, background screenings and more to help make sure that you are only renting to someone who will take care of the property as if it were their own. All of this can quickly add up and can start to feel like a full time job. This can be problematic as property management can monopolize most of your time.
